About Arm Balances and Inversions
At RY, we love getting upside down in our yoga poses! A few things to note: focus on your connection to the earth – your hands. Spread the fingers wide and press the mat away from you. Contrary to what you might think, inverted yoga poses don’t require massive arms and broad shoulders. Rather, bring attention to using your core to lift the lower half of your body. These take practice, so go slowly and have fun!!
